Privacy policy

What you share in your sessions is personal. It is treated that way.

Vitality Hub is the PEMF studio of naturopath Michelle Pearce in Cammeray, Sydney. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it and the choices you have.

We handle your information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW).

Last updated: October 2026

Who this applies to

Our services are for adults aged 18 and over. This policy applies to clients, people who enquire or book, and visitors to this website.

What we collect

  • Contact details, such as your name, phone number, email, address and date of birth.
  • Health information you share so we can care for you safely, including your health history, symptoms, medications, lifestyle, any test results you provide and notes from your consultations and sessions.
  • PEMF safety information, such as whether you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, metal implants, epilepsy, recent surgery, or are pregnant, so we can tell whether PEMF is suitable for you and set it safely.
  • Booking and payment details. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

We only collect health information that is needed for your care, and only with your consent.

Why we collect it

  • To provide safe, appropriate and personalised care.
  • To keep accurate clinical records, as required of health practitioners in NSW.
  • To manage bookings, reminders and payments.
  • To reply to your questions.
  • To send occasional news and offers, only if you have asked to receive them.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your information. We share it only when:

  • you ask us to or agree to it, for example a letter to your GP or another practitioner,
  • a trusted service provider needs it to help us run the studio, such as Calendly for bookings, Google Workspace for email and Stripe for payments,
  • the law requires or allows it, or it is needed to prevent a serious threat to someone's health or safety.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers with strong security, although privacy laws overseas may differ from ours.

This website

This website uses Google Analytics to understand, in general terms, how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are read and how often the booking buttons are used. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type. It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

The site has no advertising cookies and no forms. Our hosting provider, Netlify, may record basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and running.

When you choose to book, you are taken to Calendly, which has its own privacy policy and may use cookies on its pages.

How we protect and keep it

Paper records are kept in a locked cabinet and digital records in password-protected software. Only Michelle has access to them. Health records are kept for at least 7 years after your last visit, as required by NSW law, and are then securely destroyed.

Your choices and rights

  • Access. You can ask to see or receive a copy of your records. There is no charge to ask, and we will respond within 30 days. A reasonable fee may apply for copying.
  • Correction. If something we hold is wrong or out of date, let us know and we will correct it.
  • Choosing what you share. You can decline to provide information, although this may limit how safely we can care for you.
  • Staying anonymous. For general enquiries, you do not need to give your name.
  • Unsubscribing. You can opt out of emails at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.
